Hi! Welcome to the Envisage Movie Works Website! Who am I? My name is Connor Berge, the creator of this website, as well as the owner of my personal business, Envisage Movie Works. I love to make videos professionally, and for fun. I love to spend time on the computer, and I love to make movies. But most of all, I love to interact with other people, and a website is a great way to do that. Being a firm Christian, I believe that everything I have right now was given to me by God.
My career began when I found a cheap camera at a garage sale. After buying it, my love for video making grew. It was possible to tell a story over and over again, with the exact image that you wanted in someone's mind. Media soon captivated my mind as my Aunt Shelly helped me develop a basic website. The website wasn't popular, neither where any of the videos, but I enjoyed every minute of making them.
As my reputation for a young small time video maker spread throughout the tiny little group of people I was connected with, jobs started presenting themselves to me. Hunter Berge, my brother, was outstanding at baseball. I found that I could film his all-star team, and parents would actually buy DVD's of what I had filmed. After that, I soon got a job filming a high-school reunion, which gave me the foundation, reputation, and money to invest back into my career.
With the Money I was making, I bought new video making equipment. My camera was updated to a digital camera, and I bought myself a good video editing computer. As time moved on, I continued to update my equipment, with the money I was making on video editing.
About one year ago one of my videos was featured on Youtube.com, I got the publicity that I needed to boost my career of video making. One Man Band, the featured video, ranked in with over 1 million views. I was contacted by multiple TV channels included Inside Edition. I also received emails from multiple talent agencies. The fame was great, and I was enjoying every bit of it.
I soon got full of myself however. I expected more great things to happen by themselves. I bought a new computer, new camera, and new software. I imagined myself being very famous, with a lot of money when I grew up. But just as fast as the fame came, it went away. The charts for my website dropped like crazy, and I stopped making movies because I was afraid that I wouldn't appease my three-thousand newly found subscribers. I became very upset because my fame had halted, and I began a spree to try to get that fame back.
My story ends with now. After many hours of frustration, I have learned my lesson, you need to work for what you want. God says in proverbs that before riches and fame, comes humility. I stopped trying to get a hold of talent agencies, and began focusing on my current life. God gave me a taste of what I wanted, and then took it away.
The point is that no matter what you have, you will always want more. I took what I had for granted, and expected something to happen. You always have to work for what you want. This website has now reached back its peak publicity, which I am very happy about. And since I got this publicity by working hard for it, I can handle it, and know exactly what I need to do next. I am very happy which what I have, and I hope that the website's community will grow and expand. What I receive, I hope to get back to God. This website is made to help you out in the places that I couldn't get help on. Please enjoy this website, and I hope that I can be of some sort of inspiration to you. Thanks for coming!
